The Scientific Committee is appointed by the Board of Directors and provides scientific support to Hydroaid's activities. It includes prominent scholars, international experts and professionals with a proven experience in the field of water resources management. 
The current Scientific Committee is chaired by Professor Mariachiara Zanetti.
