S.M.A.R.T. project in Gambella

​SMART- Integrated Intervention on ‘Sanitation Marketing, Agriculture, Rural Development and Transformation’ in Gambella Region works to enhance better living conditions and resilience of communities and villages in Gambella Region using community-led approach. By increasing access to basic sanitation, better knowledge of agriculture, awareness on hygiene and sanitation practices, S.M.A.R.T. contributes to the improvement of health and general wellbeing of communities in six localities of Gambella.
As partner of the project, from 10th to 21st February, Hydroaid will organise an on-site training in Gambella for 14 officials of the Regional Bureaus. The topics will be water governance, and sanitation planning. It is an important opportunity to exchange know-how and experiences between Hydroaid and the local Ethiopian partners. This is the spirit of our mission!

The project is promoted by AMREF, co-funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and implemented in partnership with VIS-Volontariato Internazionale per lo Sviluppo, Salesians of Don Bosco, Hydroaid, Museke Foundation, Metropolitan City of Turin and Polytechnic of Turin.
