59ª REUNIÃO GERAL DA FRENTE NACIONAL DOS PREFEITOS.

​Within the framework of the events organized for the 59ª Reunião Geral da Frente Nacional dos Prefeitos (FNP), held in Brasilia on April 5th 2010, Hydroaid attended the meeting aimed at the establishment of the 100 Città Bilateral Committee, which has implemented the ANCI-FRENTE NACIONAL DE PREFEITOS agreement of April 26th 2010. The meeting was held with the aim of defining concrete perspectives of cooperation between the two countries for the 2011-2012 biennium. As related to the public environmental service sector, Hydroaid has proposed its own training and capacity building curricula for the management of water and urban solid waste. The meeting was attended by representatives of local governments of Brazil, consortiums, state companies managing the services as well as by private enterprises which develop and manage technology and systems.
