The application for the technical e-learning course on WASTEWATER TREATMENT is open! This e-learning course, accessible through the web platform “Moodle”, is addressed to managers, mid-level decision makers, professionals, and technicians interested and/or operating in the field of wastewater treatment from developing and emerging countries.
The course is organized in the framework of SO-WOP Project, leaded by SMAT (Turin water utility), carried out with the partners OWSSB (India), Politecnico di Torino, Hydroaid and WaterLinks (Philippines); the project is funded by UN Habitat.
All didactic material will be available only in English. For this reason, a good knowledge of English language is a compulsory requirement for the attendance of the program.
The course will take place from May 6th to July 11th 2024 (9 weeks, 8 didactic units).
Only the applications sent before Wednesday May 1st, 2024 will be considered.

The course is very important to me as an engineer working in Water and Sanitation sector in rural and sub - urban areas of the country where wastewater treatment is not yet practiced to the required level. The knowledge will enable me to deal with the issue of wastewater treatment even at rural growing centers and towns.
The point of re-use of wastewater became very interesting to me particularly on relation to agricultural activities and fish farming as well which is among of main economic activities in our sub - urban parts.
the issue of treatment methods for developing countries is another important point which will enrich me on the topic, considering economic level and culture of the users.
