SMAT awarded the Top Utility Prize 2014

SMAT, an Associated Member of Hydroaid, has been recently awarded the Top Utility Prize 2014, a special recognition of its excellent performance in the integrated  water services in the Province of Turin. The Top Utility Prize is assigned to outstanding Italian utilities operating in the fields of energy, water, gas and waste management, and it is based on a set of 153 indicators - including the sustainability, cost-effectiveness, ethics, quality of service and customer care - that allow to highlight best practices. This Prize is also an important acknowledgement of the solid activity set up by SMAT in the past years made of good investments, technological innovations and its positive relation with the local environment and social context - all elements that shaped SMAT as a public entity for the management of a resource as essential as water.
